Public Safety evolving to embrace ESInet for 9-1-1
We are familiar with state regulations on public safety in telecommunications and the challenges to provide accurate and reliable in-building location information in emergency situations. Distributing mission critical information to PSAPs, Emergency Responders and call takers in the NG9-1-1 world demand a universal network connecting all stakeholders. As current solutions evolve to a new Emergency Services IP network (ESInet), a solution like openUC can play a major role on either side of the demarcation line.
