Senior Solutions Architect Senior Solutions Architect

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company and add value to the organization at many different levels.  The SSA role is a multi-faceted role which affects marketing, sales, support, training, product management and engineering.  The ideal candidate is a technical subject matter expert and a resource for all internal/external stakeholders.  In this role the SSA interacts at all levels within the company and is expected to work comfortably at similar levels within our partner and customer accounts.  The position has direct and significant revenue impact.

The ability to create and speak to content specific to the technical business application of the eZuce solution set is inherent to the position.  The SSA will be required to regularly participate in the development of application notes, implementation assistance and general technical/best practice documents.  Additionally, the participation in digital forums such as blogging, wiki and knowledge base is highly valued.

The position may be based out of a west region hub (Seattle, San Jose/San Francisco, LA, San Diego, Salt Lake, Denver, and Phoenix).  The position will be required to work from a home office and travel extensively in support of partner and customer initiatives (50% Plus).

Primary Responsibilities: In this position you will be required to perform a variety of tasks.  These tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Technical proposal response
  • Customer and Partner system design support
  • Product and Solution technical presentations
  • Product evaluations and testing
  • Technical documentation support
  • Conduct remote and on site webinars for customers and partners
  • Support team sales efforts in the field
  • Support site installations and training
  • As necessary account technical triage/remediation

Skills Required:  A person should have the following general experiences and or skills to be considered for a position as a Sr. Solutions Architect.

  • Working experience providing pre-sales technical support for unified communications platforms from Big 3 vendors Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of the use of DHCP, DNS, and other similar IP network services on leading server platforms (e.g. NT, Solaris, Linux)
  • Working knowledge of network components, switches, routers, firewalls, gateways, etc...
  • Protocol Knowledge around – IP, H323, SIP, XMPP and related
  • Knowledge of telecommunications circuit types and provisioning parameters
  • Knowledge and experience with legacy telephony systems including dial plan definitions and implementations
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in support of a network operation environment, including LAN and WAN
  • Operating system working knowledge – Linux, MS Windows, Mac and scripting
  • Mobile platform working knowledge – Android, IOS
  • Open Source software experience, ongoing interaction with user communities with VoIP and SIP
  • Experience utilizing remote screen sharing tools
  • Familiarity with Ethernet Layer 1 through 3 troubleshooting and analysis experience using basic capture and analysis tools
  • Effective communication skills are a requirement as well as experience with creating informative and compelling presentations
